English football’s governing body have charged the club with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion after Huddersfield were given a penalty in the 51st minute.
Foxes players surrounded referee David Coote after Caglar Soyuncu was adjudged to have fouled Karlan Ahearne-Grant.
Aaron Mooy converted the spot-kick but Leicester were already two up at the time and went on to win the match 4-1, with Jamie Vardy bagging a brace.
The Foxes, who have won four of their opening five matches under new manager Brendan Rodgers, have until Friday to respond.
