While the Citizens have a second leg to rescue their Champions League dreams, fans have begun to notice how Drake appears to have a genuine impact on the celebrities he meets.

But this happened when the Canadian rapper was the designated hype man for Conor McGregor before UFC 229. The Irishman, though, was completely outclassed and beaten by Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Before facing Wolves, Romelu Lukaku met the ‘God’s Plan’ singer last month and Manchester United also subsequently lost that game.

Jadon Sancho has also fallen victim to the ‘curse’ as he was unable to help Borussia Dortmund in ‘Der Klassiker’ as Bayern Munich thrashed them 5-0.

Back in 2014, Drake posed for a picture with Daniel Sturridge. That season saw the Reds famously collapse in the race for the Premier League title.

With the Reds going strong for the crown this campaign, fans will be hoping none of their players pay a visit to any of Drake’s ‘Assassination Vacation’ European tour dates before May 12.
