Tottenham 0-1 West Ham: Declan Rice filmed celebrating at club with Love Island’s Jack Fowler after defeat of Spurs

A video shared on social media reveals just how Declan Rice decided to celebrate West Ham’s historic defeat of Tottenham.

The Hammers became the first team to beat Spurs at their new stadium, with Michail Antonio netting the first away goal at the ground.

Antonio struck to down Spurs and inflict upon the north Londoners a first defeat at their new stadium

Antonio’s was the only strike of the game and moved West Ham into 11th with two matches of the Premier League season left to play.

And Rice, who started and completed Saturday’s defeat of Spurs, decided to celebrate the win by going out clubbing.

Unfortunately, an Instagram story has gone viral on social media platform Twitter showing Rice’s celebrations… including his less than impressive ‘dancing’ with a star of the 2018 series of Love Island.

Jack Fowler, who lasted until day 53 of the hit TV show, is pictured dancing and singing next to Rice.

The story has the caption ‘When your [sic] the first to beat Spurs at their new ground’ attached, and directed at @spursofficial.

He might not have many good moves, but Rice certainly has reason to celebrate.

The recently debuted England international has been one of the Premier League’s stand out players this season, and there is said to be serious interest in him from a number of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Football: Tampines Rovers, Home United and Hougang United aim to dethrone Albirex Niigata in S'pore Premier League

Football: Tampines Rovers, Home United and Hougang United aim to dethrone Albirex Niigata in S'pore Premier League

SINGAPORE - Since 2015, no local team have won the Singapore Premier League (previously known as S-League), and no team could break the Albirex Niigata title monopoly since 2016.
But a trio of regular contenders and dark horses have emerged in a bid to end the Japanese team's dominance in the 2019 season.
Five-time champions Tampines Rovers proved their mettle early on with a 4-0 pre-season win over the White Swans and will be keen to show they are way better than their fourth-placed finish last season.
With chairman Desmond Ong handing out multi-year contracts since coming on board in 2017, the Stags are benefiting from the stability and continuity as their players are showing a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities on the pitch.
Even as 19-year-old Singaporean Joel Chew and 20-year-old Serb Zehrudin Mehmedovic look set to be a revelation in midfield with their intelligent play, Tampines are also banking on those at the other end of the experience spectrum to make a difference.
Canadian Jordan Webb, 30, is entering his 10th SPL season and for a winger, has an outstanding record of 79 goals in 208 league games, while 41-year-old centre-back Daniel Bennett is into his 21st SPL season.
Possibly the longest-serving import in the local professional game, Webb has thrilled fans with his ability to take on and beat defenders. He said: "Time moves so fast. I want to play for a few more years and win some silverware.

"Having kept the bulk of players from last season definitely helps in terms of chemistry. I would be selling us short if I say we are not going for all the trophies. We have good atmosphere, good ideas and the energy levels are high."
Tampines coach Gavin Lee added: "Many are raving about Joel's talent and potential but we need to be careful with expectations and give him every chance to succeed.
"As for Daniel and Jordan, it is not about age. They are as good as any player in their positions in the local game and we wouldn't sign them if we didn't think they can contribute. Besides their abilities, they are great leaders to those learning the ropes.
"We want to be effective in and out of pre-season. It is not just the results, but the performance that defines who we are. If we can win and entertain with attractive football, that would be the ideal scenario."
Two-time winners Home United are also another local side to have gotten one over Albirex this season, when they beat the defending champions on penalties for the Community Shield last Saturday.
The Protectors were the best local side last season, finishing league runners-up and winning the AFC Cup Asean zonal final. Like Tampines, they have retained 17 of 24 players, including South Korean lynchpin Song Ui-young and the evergreen Shahril Ishak who combined for 40 goals in all competitions last term.
They also boast of arguably the league's best local Under-23 trio in forward Adam Swandi, central midfielder Hami Syahin and central defender Taufiq Muqminin.
With their last major trophy coming in the form of the 2013 Singapore Cup and their last league title in 2003, Home coach Saswadimata Dasuki said it is time to end the drought.
He added: "We want to build on our successes last season and go one better. Fifteen years without a league title is too long and we will have to work hard and keep our concentration even with our AFC Cup commitments to end that wait.
"Beating Albirex on penalties is good for our confidence and it should one of the most open seasons in recent years but we won't write them off as they can only get better training full time without National Service or school commitments.
"They played with five at the back against us and we couldn't score, so it is up to us to find ways to adapt and penetrate against such teams in the future."
Meanwhile, the dark horses in the nine-team SPL have to be Hougang United, who added considerable firepower to a team that scored a league-low of just 22 goals in 24 games last season.
While they have never finished in the top half or won any major titles, the Cheetahs are gunning for history, with coach Clement Teo declaring that "third would be an underachievement".
Retaining forwards Iqbal Hussain, Shahfiq Ghani and Fazrul Nawaz, they have since signed Faris Ramli and welcomed back Croat Stipe Plazibat and captain Zulfahmi Arifin.
They initially secured the services of 2015 and 2016 top scorer Rafael Ramazotti, only for the Brazilian to go missing and sign for Mexican club FC Juarez.
Teo was positive and saw this development as a blessing in disguise as it allowed him to shore up his defence with South Korean centre-back Kong Howon.
He said: "We wanted two foreign strikers to give us more firepower, but it was also true that Afiq Yunos was our only natural centre-back.
"The Ramazotti incident allowed us to sign Kong and it was a bonus we picked up Faris, and he will give us a different dimension with his ability to take on players. Yes, we have many attackers, but this also means there is a good and healthy competition to start a game.
"With the team we assembled, we feel we need to be in the title race. Among our players, the mindset is even a draw is an underachievement."
Zulfahmi, who has returned after one season with Thailand's Chonburi, added: "Any team can win the league this season and Albirex are beatable. It depends on who are the most consistent across 24 games.
"Thanks to our chairman Bill Ng and the management, we now have quality attackers and a great team, so we got to be more adventurous and clinical than before to fight for the targets we want to achieve."

Charlton 2-3 Doncaster (4-4 agg): Addicks set up repeat of 1998 First Division play-off final against Sunderland after penalty shootout win

Charlton reached the League One play-off final where they will meet Sunderland – in a repeat of the Division One showdown 21 years ago – after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Doncaster.

After building a 2-1 lead in the first leg, the Addicks’ promotion bid was almost ended when they fell 3-1 behind at The Valley thanks to John Marquis’ goal in extra time.

Substitute Darren Pratley then forced penalties when he found the finish that ensured a 4-4 draw on aggregate, after which Marquis and then Tommy Rowe missed to give Charlton a 4-3 victory and their place in a May 26 final at Wembley.

The hosts had begun convincingly. From a left-wing free-kick in only the second minute, Josh Cullen delivered an inswinging cross towards the near, left post from where fellow loanee Krystian Bielik calmly headed beyond goalkeeper Marko Marosi.

Their advantage was almost immediately doubled when, after a swift counter, Albie Morgan struck well but into the side netting, yet Doncaster then drew level and were even unfortunate not to quickly take the lead.

Charlton had appeared under minimal threat but in the 11th minute, with little warning from within midfield, Herbie Kane sent a fine touch into the path of Rowe, who struck first-time and into the bottom left corner.

They similarly then almost went in front when Matty Blair split the hosts’ defence with a through-ball that put Marquis into space in front of goal, from where he was then denied when his low shot was smothered clear by the diving Dillon Phillips.

If both teams then struggled to dictate both the tempo and play it was Lee Bowyer’s men who first went closest to regaining the lead in the second half, when Josh Parker shot narrowly wide at the near post from Lyle Taylor’s low cross.

It was in the 88th minute when, after the tireless Taylor had had an effort rightly ruled out for offside, Doncaster then finally found the goal that had begun to look beyond them and forced extra time.

From a right-wing corner, and what may even have proved their last chance, Ali Crawford crossed towards Andy Butler at the back post, and the defender then leapt to head his team in front.

Charlton’s promotion hopes even appeared over when, 10 minutes into extra time, the visitors extended their lead. When Anfernee Dijksteel lost possession in midfield, Malik Wilks carried possession down the right before crossing into the penalty area where Marquis routinely nodded in.

From having a two-goal advantage until the final minutes of the first leg, the hosts needed to score just to force penalties, but they impressively found an almost instant response.

In a similar position from the right Taylor crossed to in front of goal, and when Marosi dived to claim possession he then spilt it to Pratley, gifting him the kindest of finishes from directly in front of goal.

The teams remained still level when, after three penalties each, Chris Solly, Cullen, Taylor, Ben Whiteman, Kieran Sadlier and Crawford had each scored.

When Joe Aribo then converted for Charlton and Marquis missed, Naby Sarr saw Marosi save when he could have secured victory, but Doncaster’s Rowe then struck a post to settle the most dramatic of affairs.

Charlton will now face Sunderland, who beat Portsmouth 1-0 on aggregate, in the League One play-off final in a repeat of the dramatic First Division play-off final in 1998, which the Addicks won on penalties after the game finished 3-3 after 90 minutes, and 4-4 after extra time. The two sides will battle it out again at Wembley on Sunday, May 26.

Patrice Evra: Former Manchester United defender denies being homophobic after Paris Saint-Germain allegations

Patrice Evra has denied allegations of homophobia after Paris Saint-Germain accused him of aiming anti-gay insults at the club.

The former France captain mocked the French champions after they were dumped out of the Champions League in dramatic fashion by Manchester United.

In a video posted on social media on Monday, the former United star said: “This is Manchester. Stop going off on one [about PSG] and validating teams who will never win anything.

“Even my cousin who is in the front [of the car] is p***** off. Paris, you are some f****ts, some f****ts, I’m telling you. We [United] put our D team [against PSG] and we did you.

“Some kids played, they used to clean my boots. They don’t even have sperm [yet]. Paris, you are some p*****s.”

PSG strongly condemned Evra’s words and issued a statement accusing the 37-year-old of homophobia.

â€Å“Paris Saint-Germain condemns Patrice Evra’s homophobic insults aimed at the club, its representatives and its former players in a video released yesterday on social media,” the Ligue 1 club said.

“These remarks profoundly shocked the club, which is particularly committed to the values of respect and inclusiveness.”

And Evra has now issued an apology, claiming the French media have twisted his words.

He said: “I am here to clarify a massive misunderstanding.

“I made a video as a joke, as a friend, and because I used the word [f****t], they [French media] translated as I am against the gay people.

Bachmann and Lehmann’s relationship came to light last year

Lehmann’s West Ham United side welcomed Bachmann’s Chelsea to Rush Green in a London derby.

The duo were interviewed in the latest instalment of BBC Three documentary titled ‘Britain’s Youngest Football Boss’ which follows 19-year-old Jack Sullivan in his journey as managing director.

Lehman joined the Hammers last summer, while Bachmann is in her second season with Chelsea having helped the club win the Women’s Super League and FA Cup in her first year.

Speaking of the pair, Sullivan said: “We’ve never had partner up against partner in the men’s game.”

Both forwards are regulars for the Switzerland national team – picking up 93 caps and scoring 46 goals between them.

After their relationship came to light last year, Swiss boss Martina Voss-Tecklenburg said: “The situation is not exceptional in women’s football.”

While Bachmann said of her relationship: “There are a lot of positives with having someone who does the same thing.

“I am not going out at the weekends because I have games, she knows what I am going through and I understand her as well.”

Lehmann – who admitted Bachmann was her idol growing up – claimed she was feeling nervous ahead of their clash, as she desperately wanted her girlfriend to succumb to the pressure.

She said: “She is really, really good, technical and fast. I am a little bit nervous but I think it will be a good game.

“If she scores I will feel really bad!”

However, it was heartbreak for the youngster as Bachmann scored twice in a 2-0 win for Emma Hayes’ side.

This is Tottenham Hotspur's biggest game for quite some time, and there is no way that they will be leaving the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid on June 1 without a fight. You can get attractive odds for Spurs to win the Champions League Final at most of the top online betting sites, but are they worth betting on? I believe they are.
